The penalties and fines for recording video without consent are included both in the Penal Code and in the Data Protection Law.

As already mentioned, the penalty for recording video without consent is 1 to 4 years imprisonment and a fine of 12 to 24 months, while the penalty if the recordings obtained without consent are disseminated is 2 to 5 years.

The penalty and fine for video recording without consent may be increased depending on the aggravating circumstances that may be present.
